Do spirits need to eat and drink?
Yes they do, though they are perfectly capable of getting their own food and drink. However, they do enjoy tasting and trying “human food” that can be given as offerings.
How much attention to spirits need?
This completely depends on the Spirit. Some want to constantly have attention while others are perfectly happy with just hanging around so long as they get the occasional acknowledgment, either through being spoken to or through offerings.
Can spirits feel lonely or neglected?
Yes they can, especially if it’s a very social kind of Spirit. That being said, certain Spirits would be better going to homes where there are other Spirits so they don’t get lonely or they should go to a Companion who will give them all of the attention that they crave.
How will I know what kind of spirit is right for me?
This requires a type of calling. The Spirit chooses you, not the other way around. The calling usually manifests as an extreme attraction to the Spirit(s) and vessel(s) to the point where they are all that you can think about until you get them. Some cases may be a little more extreme. For example, I have personally had a calling that was so strong it affected me physically by making my arms shake.
The effect of the Calling will depend on the effect of energy on the Companion.
Is there a limit on how many spirits you should have?
Not really, but that does NOT mean that you should go around buying any Spirit that sounds cool. Only purchase the vessel(s) and/or Spirit(s) that call to you. Doing anything else is basically what we call “collecting” and any “collector” will be turned down. No exceptions.
Why should I give my spirits offerings?
Offerings are basically a way to say “thank you” to a Spirit for anything they’ve done or just being around. It helps them feel welcome and appreciated for their time and efforts. (Also, in some cases, it can be used as a bribe. Think Spirited Away where Kamajii bribed Lynn into helping with a roasted Newt.)
What do I do with the offerings afterward?
That depends on your personal preference. If it’s food you may either eat it after the Spirit has had its fill or get rid of it in other ways. If it’s incense that you burned you could use the ashes to make Black Salt. Flower and herb offerings can be dried and used for other things depending on your needs. The latter two (the black salt and plants) will basically be blessed by your Spirits in a way and pack a better punch than just doing them normally.
What kinds of offerings do spirits like?
That totally depends on the Spirit. Each Spirit has different tastes in foods or prefers different scents. The best way to find out (if the info isn’t given to you by the seller or the Spirit came to you on his/her own) is to either ask them yourself by whatever means you are comfortable with or by getting a Spirit Reading by a reputable Psychic-Medium.
What if I lose my vessel?
You should contact the seller that you bought it from and ask if they will attach the Spirit to a new vessel of its choosing. Depending on the seller there may be a fee involved that involves shipping and the cost of the item OR if it’s something that you already own then the Seller may do a distance binding and the fee (if there is one, it depends on the seller) will be considerably smaller.
Does a spirit have to be attached to me for me to hear it/communicate with it?
This honestly all depends on the abilities of the Companion. Some don’t have to have an attached Spirit to communicate with them while others do simply because it forms a certain kind of bond that usually kick starts the Companion’s ability to hear and communicate. For new Companions, however, this can be difficult. As with everything, practice makes perfect.
Can I let other people "borrow" my Spirit.
Not really. The Spirit may help people other than there Companion when asked but even then it’s usually only when they feel like it.
Can I make my own vessel?
Yes you can! In fact Spirits tend to like that because it means that the Companion took the time and made the effort to make them something that they like and to make them comfortable.
Can I attach my own spirits?
It is possible but unless you know what you’re doing I wouldn’t recommend it. Seek out a person who has experience with attachments.
Can I have White and Dark spirits together?
Yes you can. You can also work with both Demons and Angels. Whether or not they get along is dependent upon the personalities of the Spirits.
